Here’s an update of my bunny portrait. The drawing takes hours and the progress is slow, but little bunny keeps growing.

I have just started a new drawing. It’s a bunny portrait and there are going to be three bunny. It’s a commission from a real bunny lover.

Artists of Autism exhibition

My artwork is going to be exhibit at the ‘Artists of Autism’ Exhibition in the UK. Artwork of many autistic artists around the globe with be showcased there. The Big Opening of this exhibition with be on June 7th, in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. The event is organized by Karen McQuire and the purpose of this showcase is to provide positive autism awareness.

Pilaf, my little feathered friend, has his own fan page on Facebook. He shares all his thoughts and his adventures there with his fans and friends. Pilaf is a very smart little parrot. I already have him for 14 years and we are inseparable.

Now the word ‘Award’ always sounds very good to anyone of course, so I was quite happy with it. I did some research on the internet about what the Liebster Award is, and I understand that it is an award given to bloggers by other bloggers, A kind of a ‘Pay it Forward’ system. Okay, I like it, so I decide to accept it and pay it forward.

Limited Edition Art Prints

Dangling Squirrel

I signed up for an online Gallery called Artzila, to sell limited editions of my artwork. As for now there’s only my squirrel drawing that you can buy limited editions prints of, but soon there will also be my violin drawing.

I finished my violin drawing for real now. I added some more shadows and contrast and I made a high quality scan of it. I’m quite happy with the result.

I made this drawing years ago as a commission. The original is around 14 x 17 inch. I very much enjoy making drawings of animals.

This is a drawing I made years ago with coloured pencil. It’s supposed to be a friendly alien and I named him Krummel. Krummel is also a character in the comic book that I’m working on.

A few weeks ago I started a shop at Fine Art America. I have quite a selection of my artwork featured there. You can choose just regular art prints or framed prints, metal prints, canvas prints, greeting cards and many more.

This is a portrait I made a few years ago for my boyfriend and actor Edward Yankie. I gave it to him as a Christmas present.

For quite a few years already I’m working on a comic book, with my little feathered friend as the main character. Here’s one of the panels.

This is the drawing I’m working on now. While I was making this one I was also working on my violin scroll drawing. I have been making so many koala portraits lately that I needed a little bit more variety. When finished I will also donate 25% of the proceeds of this koala portrait to the Koala Hospital in Port Macquarie, Australia.

This is a portrait I’ve made a few years ago for Derek Ogilvie. I gave it to him at one of his presentations and he was very happy with it.

This is my little feathered friend. He often sleeps in my hand or in my neck while I’m working on a drawing.
